Lions Youth Achiever - Prajeeth M P

Prajeet. M.P. presently studying 10th standard in BGS Sri Venkateswara Vidya Mandir, Koppa. honored by lions Club  Koppa in a program called Lions Youth Achievers on the occasion of Children's Day 2022.

He has been Selected for the state-level chess competition to be held at Karwar by the Education Department, Government of Karnataka.

He had represented Chikkamagaluru district in State level at Madhugiri in Tumkur district in 2018-19 and at Shimoga in 2019-20.

Apart from this he had participated in Sri Adichunchanagiri Educational Institutions BGS State Level Chess Competitions and He had secured 2nd position at Kumata in 2018-19 and He was The BGS Champion at Mandya in 2019-20. Along with this, Lions Club koppa appreciated his participation in many chess tournaments organized in Mangalore, Shivamogga, Bhadravati, Chitradurga, Chikkamagaluru, Horanadu, Belur, Mudigere, Sagara, Karkala, Nitte Kundapur, Kapu and Konandur.

ಬೆನಕ ಚೆಸ್ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಷನ್: ​​ನಮ್ಮ ಮೂವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಘೋಷಿಸಲು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಪಡುತ್ತದೆ! ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಅನೇಕ ಬಾರಿ ನಾವು ಕೇಳಿರುವಂತೆ "ಚೆಸ್" ಆಡುವವರು ತುಂಬಾ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತರು, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೇರೆಯವರಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ನೆನಪಿನ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ.ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಾಲ್ಕೈದು ಸಾರಿ ಓದುವಲ್ಲಿ ,ಚೆಸ್ ಆಡುವವರು ಒಂದು ಬಾರಿ ಓದಿದರೂ ಸಾಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.  ಈ ಮೇಲಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಸಿದ ನಮ್ಮ ಬೆನಕ ಚೆಸ್ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮೂವರೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅವರವರ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಮೊದಲಿಗರಾಗಿರುವುದು ತುಂಬಾ..ತುಂಬಾ.. ತುಂಬಾ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ವಿಚಾರ. ನಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಾಧನೆ👇🏻... State level Chess Championship by Edu Dept. - Karwar

Saint Michael School, Near Court, Karwar (Uttara Kannada) First of all, We have to know that, it's not an easy task to get selected for the State level. It takes a lot of effort / Practice and dedication. These kids had performed very well at the District level and were selected as Chikkamagaluru District's representatives. Now let me introduce something about the State level. This year(2022), State level Chess selection was held at Saint Michael School, Near Court, Karwar. Pranesh Yadav Sir(international chess arbiter) was appointed as a Chief Arbiter of this event. There were a total of 170 Students participated in each category (The Categories, Under - 14 boys , Under - 14 girls , Under - 17 boys , Under - 17 girls ) * Now let us see the performance of our students at the State level. 1) Mihir Bharadwj won  7 out of 9 games and secured 9th place in the Under 14 boys category. 2) Prarthana P Bhat won 7 out of 9 games and secured 11th place in the Under 17 girls category. 3...
